| Austria Wins Silver, Germany Bronze |
| Despite a penalty each by Emil Hegle Svendsen and Lars Berger, the Norwegian foursome won the final race of the 2009 Biathlon World Championships in Pyeongchang, Korea. Halvard Hanevold and Ole Einar Bjoerndalen had prevented penalties, with Bjoerndalen making the difference in a tight battle against Christoph Sumann of Austria and Michael Greis of Germany on the final leg. |
