Im Herbst
Fall does not seem to be a good time for me, at least during the last two years. Last year I spent September and October dealing with a broken thumb. This year, viruses and bacteria are the problems. A virus took hold of my body during the German Championships. Now, I am fighting bacterial infection that caused bronchitis.
In between these two things, I trained well for three weeks. We had a training camp in Oberhof, during which we were in the new ski tunnel most of the time. This camp was originally planned for Ramsau am Dachstein, but why travel far if snow is so close and the conditions are consistently good. I hope that my illness will not last too long so that I can fly out to Muonio, Finland completely healthy on November 9. Of course, I will let you know if that works out.
